Recommended Kitchen Products

7" Santoku Knife

I love this knife for all of my chopping! It’s truly a one stop shop knife, but it’s especially amazing for chopping vegetables! Once you have the right knife in the kitchen, you truly feel like a chef and suddenly what may have seemed like boring chopping becomes a fun task you want to do!  I love teaching knife skills in my classes because it really ups your game in the kitchen!

I also recommend getting a honing stick with it so you can hone your knife often to keep it sharper longer.

*OXO Salad Spinner
(such a great way to have fresh lettuce & store it too)

I love having a salad spinner because it keeps my lettuce fresh all week. I am much more likely to eat a salad when I have good lettuce ready to go. If you’re in a hurry it’s ok to buy pre-cut lettuce, but believe me, it’s so much better when you cut it yourself & have it fresh!

*Ninja Foodi Air Fryer/ Pressure Cooker/ Slow Cooker
(Such a great thing to have in the kitchen. Not necessary but I would highly recommend having a pressure cooker & slow cooker for class. The air fryer is a bonus and it’s so great at making healthy things crispy)

This is truly an all-in-one machine!  It does it all!  It can pressure cook, air fry, dehydrate, slow cook, sauté, etc.. I mostly use it for air frying and pressure cooking or slow cooking but it is pretty amazing! It’s a great gadget for a single person but amazing for a family as well! We will be using it in class but if you already have a pressure cooker or crockpot, do not feel like you need to purchase this. If you’re in need of an air fryer or new pressure cooker then this is the perfect purchase! It’s also great to use in the summer because you don’t have to heat up your kitchen!

Instant Read Thermometer
(a must have in the kitchen)

This is a great tool in the kitchen for anyone who tends to overcook chicken, fish or meat because they’re worried about salmonella or other food borne bacteria. This takes the guess work right out of it and will help you cook your proteins perfectly! It is a game changer, I promise! The link is for an inexpensive one to get you started but if you would like to invest in the one I have that is highly rated by America’s Test Kitchen, you will have to go to Thermo Works website and order one. It runs around $90 but the link to Amazon is a decent one for $30. If you’re a real chef and want the best, then go to Thermo Works for sure.

Definitely check out all the sizes and colors to see which one you like best! If you have a big family I suggest going for the bigger one! You’ll never be sad that you have the bigger one but you might be sad if you have one that is too small!

*VitaMix

This is my ALL-TIME favorite kitchen tool in my kitchen! If you don’t have a high powered blender like a Blend Tec or a VitaMix, I highly recommend purchasing one. I know it’s a large purchase but I promise it will be one of the best investments you can make if you’re trying to drink more greens by making smoothies. Smoothies are the #1 thing that helped curb my sweet cravings. I have a lot of tips on smoothies and can’t wait to share them with you!! This is the VitaMix that I have but I also recommend getting a refurbished one on Amazon to save you about $100 if you’re concerned about the cost. They do really good work on their products so you don’t have to worry about the quality.

Cute Water Bottle

I know it may sound funny, but having my fun water bottle with stickers on it makes me happy and wanting to drink water! I fill it every day with water and doTERRA lemon essential oil. It’s detoxifying & it helps me avoid UTIs and kidney stones. I love it so much! I would suggest buying a cute water bottle if you don’t have one. Whether you like a Hydro Flask, Stanley Cup, or a no name double wall vacuum sealed cup of any kind, whatever it takes to drink more water! To save money, you don’t have to buy a brand name, you can just search for “double wall insulated” cups. I like the metal ones because I can put my essential oils in it to drink!
