7" Santoku Knife

I love this knife for all of my chopping! Itโ€™s truly a one stop shop knife, but itโ€™s especially amazing for chopping vegetables! Once you have the right knife in the kitchen, you truly feel like a chef and suddenly what may have seemed like boring chopping becomes a fun task you want to do!ย  I love teaching knife skills in my classes because it really ups your game in the kitchen!ย

I also recommend getting a honing stick with it so you can hone your knife often to keep it sharper longer.ย

*OXO Salad Spinner
(such a great way to have fresh lettuce & store it too)

I love having a salad spinner because it keeps my lettuce fresh all week. I am much more likely to eat a salad when I have good lettuce ready to go. If youโ€™re in a hurry itโ€™s ok to buy pre-cut lettuce, but believe me, itโ€™s so much better when you cut it yourself & have it fresh!

*Ninja Foodi Air Fryer/ Pressure Cooker/ Slow Cooker
(Such a great thing to have in the kitchen. Not necessary but I would highly recommend having a pressure cooker & slow cooker for class. The air fryer is a bonus and itโ€™s so great at making healthy things crispy)

This is truly an all-in-one machine!ย  It does it all!ย  It can pressure cook, air fry, dehydrate, slow cook, sautรฉ, etc.. I mostly use it for air frying and pressure cooking or slow cooking but it is pretty amazing! Itโ€™s a great gadget for a single person but amazing for a family as well! We will be using it in class but if you already have a pressure cooker or crockpot, do not feel like you need to purchase this. If youโ€™re in need of an air fryer or new pressure cooker then this is the perfect purchase! Itโ€™s also great to use in the summer because you donโ€™t have to heat up your kitchen!

Instant Read Thermometer
(a must have in the kitchen)

This takes the guess work right out of it and will help you cook your proteins perfectly! It is a game changer, I promise! The link is for an inexpensive one to get you started but if you would like to invest in the one I have that is highly rated by Americaโ€™s Test Kitchen, you will have to go to Thermo Works website and order one. It runs around $90 but the link to Amazon is a decent one for $30. If youโ€™re a real chef and want the best, then go to Thermo Works for sure.
